Under the big walnut tree at 21st and Hawthorne, the Hawthorne House, is a unique memory care facility. Rather than attempting to make create a “home-like” feel, the Hawthorne House is a home with some added features of larger facilities (such as security systems, nursing supervision, etc.). The single hallway is circular to eliminate the fear of becoming lost. The bedroom doors are personalized and private bathrooms preserve dignity.
